The 2017 Camaro is part of the sixth generation (launched in 2016) with several refinements.

Chevrolet introduced special editions, e.g. the 50th Anniversary edition, and a Redline Edition with unique styling cues.

The 1LE performance package returned for 2017, offered on both V6 and V8 models. It adds suspension upgrades, larger brakes, wider/stickier tires, and in some cases an electronic limited-slip rear diff.
